BUSINESS OWNER FIRST

I look at systems from the side of the person who has to run the business.

Not from the side of somebody who needs to sell you a particular platform.

I am Hubert Kuzel, a business owner/operator in Wellington, New Zealand.

I have spent years working directly with the messy reality of business systems — not only discussing them.

My practical experience includes SAP Business One, SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Python, APIs, POS, inventory, purchasing, sales, deliveries, invoicing, e-commerce, customer systems, workflow, document processing, email systems, reporting and AI-assisted development.

I am not presenting myself as a giant consulting firm.

I am not claiming to be the world’s greatest programmer, an AI scientist, an investment banker or somebody who can magically fix every company.

What I bring is a business-owner perspective and a strong practical interest in understanding why a business works the way it does before changing the technology underneath it.

Why I am building HubertKuzel.com

Businesses accumulate software and processes over years. Some are excellent. Some are obsolete. Some exist because nobody remembers why they started.

Then a new technology wave arrives and the temptation is to bolt more technology on top.

I prefer the opposite question:

If we were solving this problem properly today, would we still do it this way?

Sometimes the answer is yes. Sometimes it is a small improvement. Sometimes it is a complete rebuild. And sometimes the answer is to remove the process altogether.

That is the playground behind HubertKuzel.com.

A personal, direct model

If we work together, you are working directly with me.

When specialist expertise is required — legal, accounting, cybersecurity, networking, complex infrastructure or other professional disciplines — I would rather involve the right specialist than pretend I personally cover everything.

Credibility matters more to me than appearing enormous.
