Review workflows, reports, databases, interfaces, source code where available and authorised system behaviour.
Document
Create a practical blueprint of what the existing environment actually does.
Decide
For every important process: keep, improve, integrate, rebuild, replace or remove.
Build
Use the most appropriate tools — not the most fashionable ones.
Test
Run new components beside the existing environment where sensible.
Migrate
Move responsibility in controlled stages rather than with a reckless big-bang switch.
Support
Document, monitor and improve the new environment as the business learns.
ERP-independent by design
I am not building a consulting business around one vendor.
An existing ERP can remain where it still makes sense. New applications can sit around it. Old components can become data sources. Functions can move progressively.

Business Process & System Blueprint
A rebuild begins by answering practical questions: what does this process achieve, why does it exist, what information goes in, what comes out, who decides, what are the exceptions, and what can be removed before we automate anything?
A controlled first step
The sensible starting point is a paid assessment that ends with a clear recommendation:
- GREEN — the proposed rebuild is sensible and realistic.
- AMBER — proceed, but define the scope carefully.
- RED — I do not believe you should spend serious money on the proposed project.
Being willing to say “don’t do this” is part of the service.
